Photography found me before I knew what I was looking for. What started as a way to document adventures turned into a passion for capturing the quiet, honest moments between people who love each other deeply.
I specialize in intimate weddings and elopements because I believe the best photos come from real moments — not forced poses or overcrowded timelines. When a wedding is intentional and personal, the images tell a richer story.
Based in Des Moines, Iowa, but happiest with a camera in my hand and mountains on the horizon. Montana, Colorado, Wyoming, Arizona, Utah, Idaho — I've been lucky enough to document love stories in some of the most breathtaking places in the country, and I'm always ready for the next adventure.
When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me hiking with my dog, exploring backroads, or planning my next trip to somewhere wild.

What I Believe
I do not believe your wedding should feel like a production. My job is to bring calm, direction, and a sharp eye so you can stay in the day while I protect the story. I will guide when guidance is needed, step back when the moment is already happening, and make photographs that still feel true years from now.
Presence Over Performance
The strongest photographs come from people who are actually living the day. I will not turn your wedding into a styled shoot. I watch closely, direct with purpose, and protect the moments that cannot be recreated.
Calm Is Part of the Job
A wedding day needs someone steady in the room. Timelines shift, weather changes, family gets emotional, and light moves fast. I know how to work through that without adding noise.
